Message from the Chairman
History, more so the history of its struggle to face odds, teaches for the future. So is true about the freedom struggle that India had to wage against formidable but marauding colonial power. Young readers may find the present sometimes too stereotyped. They have to be wary of a regimented present. Assimilating the legacy of a prudent past, they have to grow for a healthy future. Prejudiced mind, borne of a sponsored regime of coloured vision, may lead the nation to a dark alley again to suffer humiliation of a chained future. It is essential we imbibe those social values of life that our for-fathers struggled to preserve for a peaceful and contended life with no mind to heap such humiliation on others. Let us peep into the pages of our past with an open mind and grasp the essence of things valuable.
